Those of you who have been viewing my art Tuesday may have noticed you have not been able to comment on this particular vector. This is due to a group of deviants who believe that comments that are filled with caps, engrish, or any unintelligible wording are acceptable and should not result in the user who posted it being blocked. And that defending such comments are reason enough to end a block. On their side of the net, maybe. But around here, on my side, it most isn't definitely the case. In the opinion of myself and several artists in the dA community, the comments section is meant to be used to give feedback to the artist, to help them improve. It's also designed for people who want to share jokes and experiences related to the piece. It is not meant to be used as a tool to insult, offend, and/or annoy the artist. Sadly, the internet culture has thrived on this notion for far too long.

I will admit, I have always had difficulty controlling my anger and it came to a boiling point today. Having to deal with people like these is never fun for everyone, and they took full advantage of my anger management issues. The shame that they and myself have brought is overwhelming. As such, I would like apologize to all of my loyal followers and friends who have had to witness my rage. However, I will not apologize to those who have caused me the grief I have had to endure this week.

In light of this, I am applying new rules to my gallery regarding comments.

Comments with all caps, engrish, or any unintelligible wording will be treated as spam and will be reported.
Insults, bigotry or any offensive content will result in an immediate block.
Defense of comments that violate the above rules will be hidden; trying to get around this will result in a block.
Please be respectful of others' opinions. If I find a discussion has fallen out of control, I will hide the entire comment block. All users involved will receive a warning, and should this behaviour continue, users involved may be blocked.
Comments in other languages are acceptable as long as the above rules are followed. However, please note that English is only language I am able to understand, so I will not be able to reply accurately. Please feel free to translate for me!
You may contact me on another site to appeal your block and possibly have it removed on the condition that you follow the rules or risk a permanent block.
Continued disregard for these rules will result in a permanent block. From this point forward, appeals on other sites will not be accepted. The decision is final.

I shall restore comments to that vector within a day. However, I would like to make it perfectly clear that I have little to no tolerance in hurtful, annoying, or pointless feedback. Should these abuses continue, there may be a point where comments will be disabled for everything indefinitely. It's honestly hard for me to say this, because I am always looking forward to receiving feedback on my work, be it complimentary or constructive. As well as jokes or stories that fit the piece. But having to see comments that have deplorable and/or insulting writing is never enjoyable, and if I have to prevent others from being able to give their feedback because of this, then so be it. You may blame me all you want, but in my book, individuals like those who hurt me the past few days will be the ones truly responsible for ruining everyone's fun. Because it is by their own selfish will that they push the artist from stopping what he/she has set out to do: make people happy.
